DELIVERY SERVICES / WHITE-GLOVE DELIVERY & SETUP

DELIVERED.
PLACED.
READY FOR WHAT’S NEXT.

Some deliveries need more than a handoff at the door. Tell WCC about the item, where it belongs, and the help you need with placement, unpacking, or setup.

05 / COMMON QUESTIONS

LET’S AGREE
ON THE DETAILS.

What does white-glove service include?

The scope is agreed for each job. It may include delivery to a designated location, placement, unpacking, and approved setup tasks. Only the services expressly listed in your accepted quote are included.

Does setup include assembly or installation?

Describe the exact tasks before booking. Simple assembly or arrangement may be reviewed. Electrical work, plumbing, wall mounting, calibration, and technical or clinical installation are not included in the service described here.

Can you carry items upstairs or use a freight elevator?

Tell us about stairs, elevator dimensions, reservations, loading access, and item weight. We’ll review staffing and handling requirements before accepting the job. Stair carries or specialized lifting are not assumed.

Do you offer two-person delivery or special lifting equipment?

Share the requirements when you inquire. Staffing, liftgates, forklifts, and other handling equipment must be specifically confirmed; they are not automatically included in a white-glove request.

Will you remove the packaging?

Packaging removal must be agreed in advance. Tell us whether boxes and protective materials should be retained for inspection or returns. Haul-away of old equipment or furniture is a separate request and is not included by default.

Can you deliver fragile or high-value items?

Provide the item’s value, condition, packaging, and handling instructions before booking. Suitability and any applicable coverage must be reviewed; the white-glove label alone does not establish coverage for every item.

What should be ready before delivery?

Prepare the placement area, clear the access route, arrange building access, and have the receiving contact available. Tell us ahead of time about protective coverings, venue rules, or documents required by the building.

How is the price calculated?

Pricing depends on the route, item size and weight, staffing, access, time on site, and agreed unpacking or setup work. Changes to the job may require a revised quote before additional work proceeds.
